The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) is designed to prepare children to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church.

RCIC is open to any child between 7 and 10 years old, (2nd -5th Grade), who are not
Baptized, and has expressed a desire to become Catholic.
RCIC is a process that prepares children for receiving the Sacraments of Initiation:
·         Baptism
·         Eucharist
·         Confirmation
It is a two-year process with the first year being a foundational year. The second year will be focused on the Sacraments, Prayer, the Creed and the Moral Life. At the end of the second-year children receive the Sacraments of Initiation during the Easter Vigil.
